Ballet Crazy Hair Day 2010

At ballet last week, Michelle had crazy hair day. For two weeks she had been telling me that she wanted tails all over her head for crazy hair day. Here is the final look.
Michelle thought the neat part about this hairdo was that each tail had a different colored rubber band on it. She really loves ballet and dancing. I am just so happy we can provide this opportunity for her.

Spirit Week 2010

Charles school had Spirit Week the week after President's Day. It was all leading up to the big fund raising Soc Hop. Each day the kids were able to dress up as something different. Charles thought it was awesome that he didn't have to wear his uniform all week. Here was the break down:
Tuesday - Pajama Day
Wednesday - Crazy Outfit Day
Thursday - Twin Day
Friday - 50's Day
Of course being the best mom ever, I only took pictures of Charles on Friday. Don't ask me why because I don't know. Just rushing around as usual. I tried to convince Charles how they dressed in the 50's. He made me go online and look up pictures of ways people dressed in the 50's. Here is what he came up with.

He looks like one of the guys on Grease, don't you think?

He even had to carry a comb around in his back pocket!

Practicing combing his hair!

20 Week Baby Update

How time flies. I am having trouble believing that we are at 20 weeks in the pregnancy. We are half way there. We had an ultrasound this past week. It is so neat the technology and what can be done. Here are a couple of pictures of Bennet.

We are all so excited about this baby and can't wait for him to join our family. The Lord has truly blessed us with the opportunity to be parents for the third time. It is especially fun to see how excited the kids are about a new baby brother.

Charles' First Tooth!

Last Saturday was just a fun day. It was especially fun because Charles lost his first tooth. I can't believe that he is already old enough to be losing teeth. Resa and I cried. His tooth had been loose for a while. Gabe pulled it out with some dental floss. Charles was completely shocked that his tooth actually came out.

The Fort!

Last Saturday was a hang out day for our family. Gabe had a lot of studying to do. I thought I would be a good wife and try to keep the kids occupied. I pulled out the couches and swept under them. Then I turned them around a created a fort for the kids. It took up the whole living room.
The kids had so much fun throughout the day playing in the fort. They played animals, camping, preschool, books, and I am not sure what else.

Lunch in the fort by lantern light.

Instead of a nap, I set up the laptop in the fort and they watched a movie. They thought it was like a movie theatre.
